WEB SHOP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Conditions of Sale apply to Oot-Oot Studio web store buyer (the consumer) and the company Tume Hall OÜ (hereinafter Oot-Oot Studio) for buying goods and services.
Oot-Oot Studio web shop terms and conditions are in compliant with the legal regulations arising from the Republic of Estonia Law of Obligations Act, the Consumer Protection Act and other legislation governing the sale of goods and services.
Oot-Oot Studio reserves the right to make changes in the conditions of sale. These changes are published on the Oot-Oot Studio website.
Sales take effect after receipt of the payment made by the consumer to Oot-Oot Studio’s bank account. Orders which have not been paid shall be cancelled within 24 hours of ordering.
All Oot-Oot Studio web shop prices include 20% VAT.
Custom-made orders and stock items
The production time for custom-made orders such as sofas, ottomans and armchairs is 4 weeks. Additionally, please take into consideration that shipping is 1 week on top of production time. Stock items such as tables, lamps and stools will be delivered in a couple of working days if the order does not include any custom-made products.
How to order
- Add the desired products to your shopping cart by clicking the “Add to cart” link on the product page.
- To review your selected items, click the shopping cart icon in the top right corner of the page. When you are ready, click “Proceed to Checkout”.
- On the checkout page fill out the required fields, choose the desired product delivery method and payment method. Fill out the data carefully since smooth delivery and settlement of disputes is dependent on it. Then click on “Place order”. Thereafter you will be taken to the online bank or PayPal page to pay the bill.
Oot-Oot Studio web shop orders are fulfilled on weekdays from Monday-Friday 10 AM to 5 pm EET.
Delivery charges for furniture items are calculated at checkout and based on the size of the item and consumer’s location.
Sofas, ottomans, armchairs, sideboards and large quantity orders are shipped with a special carrier depending on the destination. The consumer will be contacted directly regarding the delivery time as it varies depending on the country. The consumer’s order is delivered to street level only and will not be carried inside at destination address. The consumer is responsible for the disposal of pallets and other packaging used in connection with the delivery.
The consumer will receive an e-mail with shipping information when the order is on its way.
Once you have received the delivery, please inspect the products and inform Oot-Oot Studio if anything is missing or damaged. Please make sure that the package has not been damaged. If you see any signs of damage, please write it down on the courier paperwork. It should also be photographed. Oot-Oot Studio cannot take responsibility for damaged goods after the package has already been opened.
Oot-Oot Studio is not responsible for the damage or delay of delivery of the goods if the damage or the delivery delay is caused by force majeure circumstances.
It is very important for us that our consumers are 100% satisfied with their purchase from Oot-Oot Studio. If the consumer wishes to return the items, non-damaged and unused Oot-Oot Studio stock items may be returned within 14 days.
To return the ordered stock goods the reason for the return should be sent by e-mail to email@example.com no later than 14 days from the receipt of goods.
Unfortunately, made-to-order items are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless they are found to be faulty. Made-to-order items are specially made according to the consumer’s specifications which means that the consumer has chosen specific fabric and legs for the products from Oot-Oot Studio web store.
Stock items such as Dot stools, Flot lamps, Hosh sideboards, Pop poufs and coffee tables can be returned within 14 days. Oot-Oot Studio accepts return orders for these products only if the product is unused and can be re-sold as new.
Oot-Oot Studio will give the consumer a full refund of the purchase price and the shipping charges the consumer was originally charged to receive the products. The refund will not be paid before Oot-Oot Studio has received the items. The consumer is responsible for shipping charges associated with returning a non-damaged item.
If the product is damaged, an email explaining the situation should be sent firstname.lastname@example.org. The complaint needs to state the product’s name, consumer’s telephone number, order number and description of product non-conformity with photos.
All complaints will be reviewed and the consumer will be contacted as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days from the date the complaint was received. Oot-Oot Studio will replace the damaged product. Oot-Oot Studio will arrange and pay for the replaced product shipping to destination address. Oot-Oot Studio will also arrange and pay for removal of the damaged item.
Oot-Oot Studio is not responsible for damage to the product which occur due to improper storage or non-intended use.
If Oot-Oot Studio has refused to settle a complaint from the consumer or the consumer does not agree with the proposed solution from Oot-Oot Studio and finds that consumer’s rights have been violated the consumer may submit a complaint to the Consumer Disputes Committee, the Consumer Protection Board or by court. Consumers may file a complaint themselves or through a representative. Consumer rights are shown in the CPB’s website, the EU Member States to solve problems arising in the appeal to the European Union, consumer counseling.
