Small space living has definitely become more and more popular in the past several years. Low maintenance costs and providing higher rental revenue per square meter than larger units are some of the reasons why this trend has spread. However,\u00a0it can be quite the challenge decorating a small room while still keeping the feel of it light and airy. Here are our 5 best hacks to nail this challenge.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Paint your walls white<\/strong><\/p>\n

White walls will visually open up your space. Your home will feel bigger and brighter since white is the best colour to reflect natural light. If you are not a fan of white then choose a light neutral colour (light grey, beige etc).<\/p>\n

2. Choose a compact sofa with thin legs<\/strong><\/p>\n
