It is safe to say that the photographer Toomas Volksmann’s home is the most retro in Tallinn.
Toomas has successfully managed to mix interior items from the 50s to 70s and managed to create an extraordinary room experience. Esthetics wasn’t the only factor that made Toomas opt for vintage furniture. He considers the quality and durability of the furniture to be equally important. Toomas emphasizes also the ecological aspect. “Vintage furniture is not a small term trend, but a broader way of thinking. We have produced enough things into this world and it is not a must to manufacture more and more. Yet, if we are producing more, it makes sense to make high quality things!”
